XRP Ledger2026-09-19 16:29:42XRPL batch amendment enters countdown, with activation possible on Sept. 29XRP Ledger’s BatchV1_1 amendment has entered its final approval window after securing majority validator support on Sept. 15, according to on-chain amendment status data. If support stays above the required threshold for 14 straight days, the feature can go live as early as Sept. 29 at 14:06 UTC. The amendment would let users bundle up to eight XRPL transactions into a single operation with only two outcomes: all succeed or all fail. RippleX engineering lead Ayo Akinyele said the design is meant to address consistency across linked transactions, with use cases such as delivery-versus-payment settlement, collecting service fees at the same time a customer payment is processed, and synchronized transfer of assets and funds. The proposal follows an earlier version that was withdrawn before activation after a major flaw was found in signature verification in February 2026. Ripple said the revised version went through internal testing, AI-assisted analysis, Sherlock’s security competition, and reviews by Halborn and Common Prefix. Akinyele also said Ripple is working with major asset managers, but no institution was named and no timeline or scale was disclosed.250
Ripple2026-09-19 13:42:10Ripple says asset managers are preparing to use XRPL Batch V1.1Ripple said asset managers and other commercial projects are preparing to use the Batch V1.1 feature on the XRP Ledger, according to CoinDesk. The feature can bundle as many as eight transactions into a single operation and execute them on an all-or-nothing basis, so either every leg settles or the whole batch is canceled. Ripple said the change could support delivery-versus-payment, allowing asset transfers and payments to complete at the same time, while also letting exchanges, wallets, and marketplace platforms attach service fees directly to customer transactions. RippleX head of engineering Ayo Akinyele said some projects are already building around Batch and that activation would move that work closer to production, with partner names and launch timing to be disclosed once plans are finalized. The amendment has support from 30 of 35 tracked XRP Ledger validators, above the 28 votes needed to enter the activation countdown. That countdown began on Sept. 15, and if validator support stays above 80% for 14 days, Batch V1.1 is expected to go live shortly after Sept. 29. The earlier Batch V1 was withdrawn after researchers found a serious flaw in its signature verification flow in February, though the code never ran on the live ledger and no funds were exposed.210
Bitget2026-08-27 07:09:15Bitget launches $300 million Project Archimedes for quant firms and asset managersBitget has unveiled Project Archimedes, a $300 million institutional capital program aimed at quantitative trading firms, asset managers and market makers. The initiative is split into two tracks: a $100 million capital provider program for emerging and growth-stage market-neutral quant teams, and a $200 million interest-free lending program for established institutions with mature strategies and existing trading scale. According to Bitget, eligible participants in the second track can access zero-interest capital if they meet specified trading-volume or position requirements. The exchange said the program is designed to help institutions expand strategy capacity, improve capital efficiency and pursue opportunities in digital assets and tokenized markets. CEO Gracy Chen said strong strategies are often constrained not by talent, but by capital, adding that Bitget aims to support more than 50 high-quality projects with the fund over the next six months. The company also tied the initiative to its Unified Account structure, under which eligible rToken spot positions can be used as collateral for derivatives trades in the same account. Bitget said the program will initially focus on market-neutral strategies with clear operating records and measurable risk controls, with participants subject to strategy reviews, due diligence and drawdown assessments.930
